September 2, 1948, the blonde bomber Terry Bradshaw was born.

He was a quarterback from Louisiana Tech, and he’s enshrined in both the College Football Hall of Fame and the Pro Football Hall of Fame. [National Football Foundation]

Double dipper, Bradshaw was the number one pick in the 1970 NFL Draft by the Pittsburgh Steelers, and he guided the franchise to four Lombardi trophies with a strong arm.

He also won MVP in consecutive Super Bowls, Super Bowl 13 over the Cowboys and Super Bowl 14 against the Rams.

He has been a football analyst for Fox Network since 1994, and he’s also acted in movies and sung country western songs since the late 1970s.

Terry Bradshaw transcended the gridiron to become a pop culture fixture, combining his undeniable championship pedigree with a charismatic television presence that continues to entertain millions.
