February 18, 1944 – Pat Bowlen attended Oklahoma, and he became one of the most successful NFL franchise owners in League History, as his Denver Broncos teams had 21 winning seasons in the 30 years he ran the club. The Broncos teams that Bowlen owned sold out 400 straight home games! The franchise has won three Super Bowls – XXXII, XXXIII, and 50. The Pro Football Hall of Fame enshrined Pat Bowlen as a contributor in 2019.
