Jim Langer and his Miami teammates has much pleasure on January 13, 1974, in watching “Csonk” tear up the “Purple People Eaters” defense of Minnesota as number 39, churned out 145 yards rushing, including two touchdowns, as Csonka won the Super Bowl VIII MVP award in the Dolphins’ 24-7 route of the NFC’s Vikings.
