“PEOPLE ALWAYS ASK ME WHY I LOOK AT FOOTBALL FILMS SO LONG. IT’S BECAUSE EVERY TIME I LOOK AT THEM I SEE A NEW THING. YOU LOOK AT THE SAME FILM TWENTY TIMES AND THEN, BANG, SOMETHING JUMPS OUT AT YOU.” ~CHUCK NOLL

1954 Browns Team issued print of Chuck Noll.

Factoid: Chuck Noll was a player first, then a coach, who cut his teeth in the NFL under the legendary Paul Brown. Chuck, in fact, was in uniform for two NFL Championships as a member of his hometown Cleveland Browns. Noll also served as an assistant to Sid Gilman with the LA/San Diego Chargers and Don Shula with the Baltimore Colts. With a Championship pedigree like that, it is no wonder he took a 1-13 Pittsburgh Steelers team in 1969 and created an NFL Dynasty in the next decade. Chuck Noll was born on January 5, 1932
