Before the “sack” was even an official NFL statistic, Elvin Bethea was already making it his personal trademark. A relentless force on the defensive line for 16 seasons, Bethea transitioned from a standout at North Carolina A&T to become the most feared pass rusher in Houston Oilers history. From his incredible streak of 135 consecutive games to his enshrinement in Canton, Bethea’s career is a masterclass in durability, technique, and defensive excellence.
