July 30, 1903 – Sacramento, California – Legendary Syracuse End, Vic Hanson, was born.
Hanson was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 1973. Per the National Football Foundation, Vic was a tremendous athlete.
He not only played football, baseball, and basketball for Syracuse, but he was also the captain of each team.
In fact, he is the only person to be in both the College Football Hall of Fame and the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.
