How to Play

Take control of the field by placing one card per turn. If the number touching an opponent’s card is higher, you capture it. Control the most cards when all nine squares are filled to win.

How card scores are determined

Ratings are historically informed estimates based on each player’s ability, era, position, achievements, records, and impact on American football.

Standard balance: The four values normally total 21.
Historic bonuses: Major awards, records, championships, and exceptional impact can push a true legend above 21.
A rating: “A” is the highest single-side value and equals 10.
