Per a story on ABCNews.go.com by writer Hayley FitzPatrick, (full article here) Tom Brady has recently pledged funding that will provide 10 million meals to the the Feeding America non-profit through the “’Meals Up” program started by private aviation company, Wheels Up and also funded by donations of Seahawks QB Russell Willson and his wife, Star singer, Ciara.

A Tuesday, March 31, 2020 tweet by Russell Wilson stated, “Humbled for @Ciara & I to partner with @WheelsUp on the “Meals Up” Initiative in pledging 10 Million Meals to @FeedingAmerica.”

According to the report every dollar donated to the Meals Up program provides up to 10 meals for those in need.

Tom Brady who made headlines a week earlier by leaving the New England Patriots after 20 NFL seasons, to be the signal caller for his new team the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, continues to dominate the sports headlines with his philanthropy to those who have become unwilling victims to the recent pandemic.
