The Arizona State Sun Devils football staff is not shy about confronting an opponent. This is true when the lights are on the field and also in the off season, off of the field. In late April 2020 The ASU coaches teamed up with others in Sun Devil athletics to help out the St. Mary’s Food Bank in the distribution of boxes of food.

The parking lot of Phoenix Municipal Stadium, the home of the Sun Devil Baseball team, served as the distribution point where these 30 plus eager volunteers helped their community. Families in need of food simply pulled up and popped their trunks and the ASU coaches and staffers clad in masks and gloves would place the vital items of nutrition into the vehicles and close the lids of the cars.

The drivers never had to get out of their cars or come in contact with anyone. Families in need were fed that day and the thanks goes to those at St. Mary’s and to the Arizona State athletic staff. If you would like to help St. Mary’s with a donation please use this link to get to their website for instructions- St. Mary's Food Bank. They and the folks they help are sure to be thankful of your kind support.

We also invite you to support the ASU athletic teams and the fine women and men that work and play the sports you love. Please visit Arizona State Athletics website for schedules and updated information on the programs at https://thesundevils.com/.
