One of the oldest programs in the midwest, the University of Michigan was one of the first to adopt a football program after the Eastern schools like Harvard, Yale and Princeton. They challenged these Eastern powerhouses early on and have become one of the most successful college football programs in history. Players that went on to be in the college football hall of fame, the Pro Football Hall of Fame and even President of the United States have donned the Blue and Maize on the gridiron. It's trule a proud and storied tradition.
