Born March 17, 1872, in Kilmore, Victoria, Australia was the Kangaroo Kicker, Pat O'Dea. O'Dea was a legendary Australian rules and American football player and coach. O'Dea played Australian rules football for the Melbourne Football Club in the Victorian Football Association (VFA) from 1892 to 1894. He was named as an All-Australian player and selected several times to the Victoria state team.
