Historian George Bozeka tells us about a great organization preserving Pro Football History and their upcoming convention as well as many more HOF Legendary stories.

One of the organizers for the convention is our guest in this episode, George Bozeka who is the Assistant Executive Director of the PFRA. George has literally grown up in the shadow of the Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio.  We we honored to be able to talk with George on the podcast above about the following items:

What the PFRA is and its mission?
How has the HOF changed over the years?
What were some of his favorite items that have been shown at the HOF?

Some of players Bozeka has admired over the years  are Unitas, Namath, Warner, and Fitzgerald. George is a big Browns fan but has also followed the Colts, Jets, and Cardinals at different times.
 
George shares with us what will be happening at the Convention a bit as well as  
The Pro Football Hall of Fame and it's close ties with the Pro Football Researchers Association.

We also talk about the PFRA's Great Teams in Pro Football History book series. as G. Bozeka has been the lead editor for the book series. The PFRA has already published books about the 1966 Packers and 1958 Colts. The third book in the series on the 1951 Rams will be published later this year, and the gropu has just started a fourth project on the 1964 Bills.
