Many historians agree that the story of football can be broken down into three eras. The early stocking cap era prior to the forward pass (1906), the golden age of roughly 1906 through 1957 and the modern age which started with the Greatest game ever played the 1958 NFL Championship. The teams we will look at in this segment are of this post 1958 era.
