Ambrosie to be CFL Boss
The CFL announced that former CFL lineman, Randy Ambrosie would succeed Jeffrey Orridge as the Commissioner of the Canadian Football League. The move officially took place on July 5, 2003.
Orridge announced back in April of that year that he would be resigning the post, and the powers that be decided to dip into the alumni pool of the League to lead it. Ambrosie, a former Edmonton Eskimo, Toronto Argonaut, and Calgary Stampeder, would fit the bill, understanding much of how the league operates.
