May 3, 1992 - The Ohio Glory team wins their first WLAF game after 6 losses. They defeated the Frankfurt Galaxy 20-17.

The World League of American Football (WLAF) was an American football league founded by the National Football League (NFL) in 1991. It aimed to expand the sport's popularity globally, featuring teams in North America and Europe. The WLAF operated with the backing of NFL owners, who sought to develop talent and cultivate new markets. The league's initial concept involved a spring schedule, distinguishing it from the traditional NFL fall season.
The Ohio Glory was a WLAF franchise based in Columbus, Ohio. Formed in 1992, the Glory replaced the Raleigh-Durham Skyhawks. They played their home games at Ohio Stadium, the home of the Ohio State Buckeyes. Despite playing in a large venue, the Glory struggled on the field, compiling a 1-9 record in their single season.
The team's head coach was Larry Little, a Pro Football Hall of Famer. The Glory's roster included players like quarterback Babe Laufenberg. While the team didn't achieve on-field success, it briefly captured the interest of local fans. However, the WLAF faced financial challenges and ultimately ceased operations in 1992, making the Ohio Glory's existence short-lived. The league was later revived as NFL Europe, focusing solely on European teams.
