June 11, 1924 - Jackson, Mississippi - Doug Kenna was a quarterback from the United States Military Academy at West Point from 1942 to 1944, earning his way into the College Football Hall of Fame in 1984.
He started his career at Ole Miss, but after his freshman season, Kenna received an appointment to the Military Academy and played out his final 3 seasons of eligibility for the Army.
In 1944, he helped lead the Black Knights to the National Championship after an undefeated season per the National Football Foundation.
