Regardless of which one it is, we think that it’s pretty safe to say that Kendall Lamm, despite being one of the more understated football players, is a player to keep an eye out for nonetheless. Lamm's College Career

Despite being one of the best football players in the world, Lamm’s beginnings weren’t necessarily sports-focused. Kendall attended Butler High School, before then going on to study at Appalachian State.

After completing his studies, Lamm graduated from Appalachian State with a college degree in Communication-Public relations. During his time studying for his bachelor degree, Kendall achieved the top achievement of being an acclaimed member of the Appalachian State academic honor society.

During his first season with the Mountaineers in 2011, Kendall played 8 out of 12 games, with 4 being missed due to injury. While in 2012, he was given more game time and completed 11 out of 12 games. 

The later stages of his college athletic career saw Kendall step out of his shell and excel within his ability. Kendall played in all 24 games and was beginning to get noticed  by a variety of coaches for being one of the best, especially as a right back tackle and offensive line.

Throughout his college career, Kendall also recorded one game where he had a performance of the season due to registering a total of 28 knockdowns. Kendall also only allowed one sack throughout his final season.


Becoming a Pro

Kicking off His Professional Career with the Houston Texans

After finishing up his time at Appalachian State and making waves with his football college career, Kendall signed with the Houston Texans as an undrafted free agent on May 8th, 2015.

Upon making the Houston Texans team and getting his name on the roster as an undrafted 
newcomer, Lamm went on to play in 15 games throughout the 2015 season, with four starts. Then, in 2016, Lamm then went on to play in 15 games throughout the season, as well as taking three starts. 

During 2017, Lamm was temporarily released by the Houston Texans on the 28th of October. However, he was then re-signed just three days later and went on to play until 2019. Notably, Lamm, despite being an offensive player, started 13 games in 2018 as a right tackle.

Scoring a Yard Touchdown Pass with the Cleveland Browns

After gaining recognition with the Houston Texans, Kendall was picked up by the Cleveland Browns, upon which he entered a 2 year contract with. During the 2020 season in week 13, Lamm caught a one-yard touchdown pass from Baker Mayfield on a trick play. 

Thanks to this quick thinking and natural affinity for playing the offensive tackle, Lamm helped to lead his team to victory with an impressive 41-35 win. 


In High Demand

Switching from the Tennessee Titans to the Detroit Lions

After his impressive and steady performance in the Houston Texans and Cleveland Browns, Lamm soon became a hot commodity. On the 18th of March, 2021, Lamm made the decision to sign a 2 year deal with the Tennessee Titans, and was named as the backup tackle soon after. 

After around 1 year with the Tennessee Titans, Lamm was dropped from the roster on the 10th of March, 2022. After a short hiatus from football, Kendall then decided to sign with the Detroit Lions on August 30th. 

Signing with the Miami Dolphins

After being released from the Detroit Lions after his short stint with them, he then went on to become signed by the Miami Dolphins on November 28, 2022, as a player on the practice squad. 

Not too long after this, Lamm was then promoted to the active  roster around a month later, on December 31. Lamm has been playing with the Miami Dolphins ever since as an offensive tackle, and recently re-signed with the Miami Dolphins on March 15, 2023.
