Best NFC East and North Fight Songs

In this episode of the Football Fun Facts, we will go through some of the most notable NFL Team Fight Songs of all time and we want your help in determining the top franchise song of all time.

Music is such an important gift that we are given in life. It helps us remember, to forget and make us feel good. It can take a person on an emotional roller coaster of sadness, hapiness and even motivate. Music in football is almost as old as the game itself and there are many stories over the ages where a battle hymn seemingly pushed a team to victory.  We are going to take a look at some of the top songs for each NFL team and have you participate for the coming weeks on what the top NFL fight song is.

In this edition we will look at the songs of the NFC North and East Divisions, and at the end you our readers will vote for your favorite of the 8.

NFC East

Dallas Cowboys - Legendary Country singer/song writer Charley Pride performed this song, Dallas Cowboys Pride, in the 1970's and was America's Team's theme song during that era. 

Philadelphia Eagles. - Fly Eagles Fly is the anthem still heard at Lincoln Financial Park when it is game time in the City of Brotherly Love.

New York Giants. - In the Big Apple they enjoy many a tune but the one that gets the G-Men fired up is Go Big Blue from 2012 by Katiam Music.

Washington Football Team. - Perhaps one of the most classic NFL Fight songs is Hail to the Redskins, I am not sure they play it anymore in stadium since the franchise name change in 2020 but it still rings in the hearts of many inthe Nation's Capitol.

NFC North

Chicago Bears. - Da'Bears have a ditty that gets the Chicago faithful swinging in the aisles and it is Bear Down.

Detroit Lions. - The fans in the Motor City learn the lyrics to the Detroit Lions Fight Song at an early age to cheer the Honalulu Blue and Silver on.

Green Bay Packers. - In Wisconsin many a Cheese-head had spent their Sunday afternoons humming this little melody, the Packers Fight Song. An interesting fact is that before they played on the frozen tundra of Lambeau Field the franchise called City Stadium their home field for 32 years from 1925 through 1956.

Minnesota Vikings. - The Norse folks up in the Twin Cities keep warm during those chilly autumn weekends with a song of Skol Vikings.
